| Pastor Abell grew up in Indiana on a farm and was saved as a young boy in Sunday School. He served in the army and was a businessman before being called to preach in 2001. He has a M.A. in theology from Baptist Bible Graduate School and a second M.A. in Religious Studies from Faith Theological Seminary. He loves preaching, telling jokes, leading people to Christ, and discipling those who want to serve God. He would love to meet you!

As one
of our Associate Pastor's, Darrell is tasked with assisting our
children's ministries as well as our senior citizens ministries. His main duties include care visitation for shutins and senior citizens, as well as directing our Silver Anchor's Ministries for those 55 and over. He is
a graduate of Calvary Bible College in Kansas City, MO and holds a Masters degree in theology from Dallas Theological Seminary. He has a wife, Melissa, and one daughter, Natalie.

Scott is our Student Pastor and as such works with our Junior High, Senior High, and Young Adult Ministries. He and his wife Katie are very excited about this ministry that God has called them to. They see what the Lord can do and is doing in the lives of the young people in Ames and desire to be a tool in that work. Scott also works running our Media Ministries and our Sports Ministries. He loves to have fun by spending time with his wife, playing sports, being outdoors, or studying philosophy, theology, and apologetics. |
