| Pastor Abell grew up in Indiana on a farm and was saved as a young boy in Sunday School. He served in the army and was a businessman before being called to preach in 2001. He has a B.S. in Biblical Education and a M.A. in theology. He is currently working on another Masters degree in Religious Studies. He loves preaching, telling jokes, leading people to Christ, and discipling those who want to serve God. He would to meet you! |  |

 | Ray Coffey has been a member of Heartland Baptist for a number of years and is a faithful servant of the Lord. He serves as our Associate Pastor by leading our music ministries, directing the largest bus ministry in Ames, and being active in a number of other facets of the church's ministry. Ray's long-term faithfulness to Heartland Baptist Church has left an indelible mark on innumerable lives. He is one of the kindest and most likeable men you will ever meet. He loves God and people and doing whatever he can to bring the two together.

| As one
of.our Associate Pastor's, Darrell is tasked with assisting our
children's ministries as well as our senior citizens ministries. His main duties include care visitation for shutins and senior citizens, as well as directing our Silver Anchor's Ministries for those 55 and over. He is
a graduate of Calvary Bible College in Kansas City, MO and holds a Masters degree in theology from Dallas Theological Seminary. He has a wife and one daughter |

Scott is a graduate of Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Mo, and works as our Young Adult Pastor. He and his wife Katie are very excited about this ministry that God has called them to. They see what the Lord can do and is doing in the lives of young men and women in Ames and desire to be a tool in that work. Scott loves to have fun by spending time with his wife, playing sports and being outdoors.

Matthew Read is a graduate of Faith Baptist Bible College in Ankeny, IA. He is a native of central Iowa as is his wife Jill. Matthew is young and energetic and always excited about what God is doing in the lives of teenagers in Ames.
