When you show up to Heartland Baptist Church, there are certain things
that you can expect to find, whether it's your first time, first time
in a long time, or even if your here every week. You can expect to be
greeted at the door with a smile, a bulletin, and a handshake. In fact,
don't be surprised if you find it nearly impossible to turn around
without somebody smilling, nodding, or saying hello. You can expect to
find help from just about anyone if your looking for a specific
classroom or service. Just stop someone and ask them, if they don't
know, they'll find someone who does. You can expect well prepared
lessons and sermons that will encourage and challenge you and you can
expect good music and meaningful worship as we seek to praise our
heavenly Father. If this is going to be your first time with us,
then you can expect to find the same great smiles, handshakes, sermons,
lessons and music as everyone else, but you can also expect a few more
things. First of all, we have a welcome bag for you at our "Welcome
Center". Just stop by and say hello to Cindy (she's one of the
friendliest people you'll ever meet!) and let her know that this is
your first time. Trust us, you'll want one of these bags, not only does
it have information about our church and what we believe, but it also
has a loaf of our church's famous bread. It's worth picking one up just
for that! Second, we'll probably ask you to fill out a communication
card. This is just a tool that we use to keep a record of our visitor's
but it also does something for you. You'll be able to let us know if
there is anything that we can do for you or pray about for you. Each
and everyone one of these goes directly to our Pastor. We'll send you a
letter thanking you for visiting and probably try to stop by and say
hello sometime. Don't worry though, we won't come empty handed, we'll
bring another loaf of bread! Finally, you can expect our sincere thanks
for having visited. We can't tell you how much we appreciate you taking
time out of your day to come and spend time worshiping with us.
When you come to Heartland Baptist Church, you can expect to have a great time!

We know that going to a new church can be intimidating sometimes and that it can raise alot of questions for some people. We want you to know that we are just happy to have you. You don't need to worry about anything. When you show up, you can feel at ease, because we are people just like you!
Here are a few tips to help you enjoy your first visit to Heartland Baptist Church!
1. RELAX!!! - Don't get anxious, nervous, antsy, or worried. We are people just like you and there are no special rules here. We just want you to be yourself. We will do the same, we will all have fun, and God will get the glory!
2. REJOICE!!! - Make sure that you have a good time. God made us to worship Him, what could be more fun than fulfilling your God given mission in life? Meet some people, make some friends, sing along with us, and let God work in your heart. Trust us, seeing God work in your life is very exciting!
3. RETURN!!! - We will be so happy to have you the first time that you come. The only thing that would make us happier would be to have you come back again! We love God, God loves people, and we love to show people how much God loves them and there is no way for us to show you that much love in just one service. So make sure that you stop in as often as you can, because your always a friend and friends are always welcome at Heartland Baptist Church!

The simplest answer to this question is, "whatever you have". There is no dress code at Heartland Baptist Church and we are not at all particular. We have people that wear jeans and T-shirts as well as members that wear suits and ties. You just wear whatever makes you feel the most appropriate for coming to church.
